How do I use your Lighthouse Yeast + Bread Improver?

Our Lighthouse Yeast + Bread Improver can be used in the same way as any other dried yeast product. If a recipe calls for dried yeast, simply use our Yeast + Bread Improver in that recipe as directed.


Does the recipe call for one 7g sachet of dried yeast? Then use one 7g sachet of Lighthouse Yeast + Bread Improver.

Does the recipe call for 2 teaspoons of dried yeast? Use 2 teaspoons of Lighthouse Yeast + Bread Improver.


Our Lighthouse Yeast + Bread Improver can also be used in any recipes asking for quick, fast action, instant, or easy bake yeast.

I tried one sachet and my bread didnt rise.

My spelt flour is asking for 600 gram flour 7grm improver and 4.5grm of yeast??? How many sachets do I need to use??

I use a Bread Machine with 326g Flour & 186 ml water and with Defiance Yeast I use a 1 tsp, plus a 1/4 of bread improver, how much would I use with the Lighthouse Yeast & Bread Improver?

what if recipe calls for both yeast and improver do i use 1tsp for each or do i use just 1tsp

Yes, Lighthouse Yeast + Bread Improver can be we substituted 1:1 for regular yeast. As a general rule, we usually recommend using 1 sachet (7g = 1 ½ tsp) of our Lighthouse Yeast + Bread Improver with 500g flour.
